Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin is out week-to-week with a broken foot, the team announced Saturday.

Muzzin broke his foot during the Leafs’ 5-4 overtime win against the New Jersey Devils on Friday night, according to Sportsnet’s Luke Fox. He played majority of game with the injury, then walked to the bus after the game in dress shoes without crutches.

The 30-year-old has posted three goals and 13 points in 38 games this season.

Martin Marincin will be replacing Muzzin in tonight’s game against the New York Rangers. Adam Brooks will also be making his NHL debut for the Leafs tonight.
